The Lutheran Church in Burr Oak has an annual play - St. John's Players presented "Bedside Manor" for the 2012 production. The proceeds of the play always benefits someone in the church or community. This year the proceeds went to Vivian for a lifetime membership in Little People of America.

Fall 2011

A busy Fall Weekend and I have not posted anything for a while. All these pictures were taken with my phone camera and I do not have a fancy phone (my disclaimer) Enjoy!

Alex has just gotten glasses, wow how cute is he?? He is having tubes in his ears again at the end of the month, his third set. I pray this set takes care of his issues.

Here is the group who helped with the leaf raking on Saturday
Many hands make light work!

Dad brought us a snack :) Thank you Dad!

Josh and Alyssa do not have a lot of leaves in their yard so they thought it great fun to run in front of the leaf blower.

Steve blowing leaves

Steve cleaning the eaves, thank you for all the help Steve!

Hannah and Josh have just celebrated their number ten birthdays. It seems like yesterday that they were born. Hannah was sick and missed school on her birthday so not much of a party.

One last picture, mom,or grandmom, or great-grandma is not doing well at all. It is hard to see her going downhill and harder for our dad who has loved her for more than 60 years. I love you mom :)

Here we are at the Adventure Zone in Coldwater, MI - Papa and the kids road the go-carts and grandma and Miss V hung out and watched them
Josh was just looking for a win.

Alyssa and Alex were to small to drive themselves so papa got to go around two times.

The third weekend in August Josh and Alyssa came down for a visit. What a fun time to have our grandchildren with us for a couple of days. They grow so fast and this year Alyssa is in first grade and Josh is in third grade.
Miss Vivian also came to visit and she spent her time hanging out with papa and helping him with his computer

Hannah likes to cook so she always helps me, her speciality is eggs. Here is the big kids on Sunday morning before Sunday School. We had scrambled eggs and sausage. What a cute bunch of grandchildren :)

All I can say is Ramie's class met for 40 year reunion in August. I had not seen some of his classmates in many years and it was a fun time.

Miss Vivian and Grandma at the Little Miss Sturgis Pageant
Hannah did such a good job in the Little Miss Sturgis Pageant. She was the youngest contestant. I was so proud of her! Good job Hannah :)
