Here we are at the Adventure Zone in Coldwater, MI - Papa and the kids road the go-carts and grandma and Miss V hung out and watched them
Josh was just looking for a win.

Alyssa and Alex were to small to drive themselves so papa got to go around two times.

The third weekend in August Josh and Alyssa came down for a visit. What a fun time to have our grandchildren with us for a couple of days. They grow so fast and this year Alyssa is in first grade and Josh is in third grade.
Miss Vivian also came to visit and she spent her time hanging out with papa and helping him with his computer

Hannah likes to cook so she always helps me, her speciality is eggs. Here is the big kids on Sunday morning before Sunday School. We had scrambled eggs and sausage. What a cute bunch of grandchildren :)

All I can say is Ramie's class met for 40 year reunion in August. I had not seen some of his classmates in many years and it was a fun time.

Miss Vivian and Grandma at the Little Miss Sturgis Pageant
Hannah did such a good job in the Little Miss Sturgis Pageant. She was the youngest contestant. I was so proud of her! Good job Hannah :)

This picture is the point on the House on the Rocks in Spring Green, WI

I would not walk out to the point. There was a lot of sway with the structure.
Our next stop was Tailesin - Frank Lloyd Wrights home
We did not tour his house as it was $84.00 each to take the tour! Unity Chapel in Spring Green, WI

Spring Green had an Architectural Driving Tour of architecture which had been designed or influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright. This structure is the Spring Green Chamber of Commerce.

For the past 23 years Ramie and I have gone to Oshkosh, WI to the EAA Airshow during the last week of July - first week of August. The airshow was actually our honeymoon destination. This year during the week leading up to the trip our cat Molly was sick and I took her to our vet on Thursday night, when he gave her a shot she bit me and the next day it was swollen and red and starting to get red streaks. When I took her back for her second shot he said you need to see your doctor. So Molly went home and I went to the doctor. I got a tetanus shot and horse pills to take for the next ten days but the bite cleared right up!
We have had so much rain this summer. The same for WI - the week leading up to the trip had rained almost everyday. We camped at a different campground this year within walking distance of the airshow but it was a mud pit. When we arrived there were three motor homes stuck in all three driveways. Needless to say we had a big four-wheel drive tractor pull us into our site. Once we were set up we walked and road bike for the next four days. What a fun time..

Here it is the end of August and I have been a bit lazy about posting all of our fun.

Ramie and I went to Frederick Meijer Gardens during the Independence Weekend. The Chihuly Exibhit was beautiful..
The day was quite warm and we did a lot of walking. We finally road the tram so we could see all the sights.

Hannah had her annual Gymnastic Recital on May 26th She is amazing and improves with each year.

Memorial Day we went to Steve and Nikki's and had lunch. What a rainy day. It rained all the way to Kalamazoo and stopped just as we were getting to their house and started up again just as we were leaving for home. Hannah and Josh are always glad to see each other.

Here are the four grandkids wondering if they are going to be fed!

Grandparents Day

Friday we went to Kalamazoo Christian Elementary School and saw Josh and Alyssa in the Grandparents performance.

Josh was more into the singing this year than he was in previous years!

Alyssa sang in the program for the first time this year. She is in kindergarten. She yawned a lot! I am guessing she was either tired or stressed. (Her dad says she was sick on Sunday so that may have been the problem).

They both did real good jobs with the hand motions and the singing.

The upper classmates put on a skit.

Josh and his friend were talking quite a bit.

What a nice program. Thank you Josh and Alyssa for inviting us to your program and Art Show!
